Jesus is God. His coming into the world is not just a Christmas story, but it is a history story. In fact, it is the one that matters most. We believe in the miraculous nature of this, because of what it shows us about God. That is why we affirm.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
